[Weechat Question] Save channels

I've been looking through the weechat guide, but haven't found an
answer for this. I'd like to save the current servers and channels I'm
connected to for when I restart weechat. I want to be able to start up
weechat and have it load the servers and channels I was connected to
last time BUT NOT autoconnect to them. I'd just like them there so I
can switch to them and connect to the servers as I like and then
switch to the channels and join them as well. Is there any way I can
achieve something like this functionality?

Have a look at the command /layout.

It saves the buffers (and/or windows) you have.

I tried this, but I'm not sure how to get it to work. I join the
server, join some channels, and use /layout store 'somename' but when
I restart and use /layout apply 'somename' nothing happens... any idea
what I'm missing?

Try #weechat in FreeNode, fit me it just works.

But I rarely quit IRC, I use tmux in a server that's always on.
