So i have downloaded a number of things with XDCC but when i go and
put this command in on #moviegods it doesn't work!, why is this
happening?. I have downloaded from #moviegods before and it worked so
i'm slightly confused.

Channel/ Network: irc.abjects.net / #moviegods

Software: HexChat

Command: /msg [MG]-Request|Bot|Ares xdcc send #116

Maybe the bots don't work or are bugged? We'd need an error message to
tell you.

Why so long?, other commands only take a couple of seconds!

well it varies for each bot and how many people are leeching, i mean
moviegods usually have large queues at primetime tv time when everyone
auto downloads there shows, but for this bot sometimes there is no
queue and you will download straight away, also i recommend using
kvirc or mirc with ssl addon for anyone who uses xdcc channels
