Does anyone know what happened to the whatnet.org irc network? It was
around for years but seems to have shut down.

Fatal Error: irc.whatnet.org: SCK_E_TIMEOUT_TCP: Connect timed out.

It may be temporary, but for now, look at alternative networks like
[OpenStar](http://openstar.pw) or [Freenode](http://freenode.net).
