HexChat 2.12.0

I get disconnected a lot and one of my channels depends on my having
the same nick.

Is there a script that I could have check if my current nick is a nick
I specify, then ghost the nick that may or may not be left over from
my last connection, then change my nick to that nick, then use the
identify command?

I'd want it to do it about once a minute.
