Hexchat: Reconnecting without changing nick

I wasn't quite sure how to word this, but I recently started using
Hexchat, and wanted to know how I can set it to not rename myself when
reconnecting. Example: I am connected to a server as "tolwyn-", and I
only want to reconnect using that name, and not the alternative. Is
there a perform I need to add to kill my ghost through nickserv? I am
reconnecting as "TT" constantly, even when my second/third nickname
choices are left blank. I know I can manually just rename and
reauthorize, but I'd rather not be connected with the alternative
nick.

There is a "Nick" field in the individual server settings that will
give you server specific control over your name.

You'll still have to deal with nickserv if the server didn't release
your name when you were disconnected.

Looks like not much response here but, not having used hexchat I
assume there is a option to have it perform commands when you join.
The one to remove the old connection is /ns ghost nick yourpass
Once you do that you can also add the command to change to your
preferred nick in the same area and auth with nickserv as well.
