Is there a way to see how active an IRC channel is? Like to see when
the last post was, to see if worth joining or not?

Some channels show up when I do the search on there, but not all.

If the channel is on QuakeNet you can check
https://stats.quakenet.org/ - same as with all networks though some
channels will not show up if they are not registered for stats or they
are set to private (+s or +p channel modes).

They have a bot that periodically joins channels to gather stats -
IIRC, they start monitoring a channel after it is first searched for,
and continue monitoring low-activity channels for something like 1-2
months after it was last searched for before delisting it again.
