Hello there, this is PANIC from irc.darkvoltage.net . I am currently
trying to build a good chat room on a server with minimal rules. The
server is up and running and has minimal net splits, and low latency.
If you are an IRC user and would enjoy a nice relaxed and laid back
channel, feel free to join us using you're client if you have one

If you have any questions about these servers, please message me
through here and I will be more than happy to explain more.
Some useful information Dark Voltage has an easy to use system and is
currently growing, chances are if you get there soon you can reserve
your nick quite easily as well any channel names you'd like and be
able to branch from there. Dark Voltage uses ANOPE 2.0 and Rizon is
also fairly easy to configure running a slightly older version of
ANOPE.

are you willing to merge with another network? I'm looking to create a
supernetwork made out of smaller ones, I already have 2 networks, 200
users

Well the network itself isn't mine and the Founder Apocalypse treats
this network as his baby, I don't know if he would merge, but I could
pass along the information. As for now I'm just recruiting to help him
build the network with users, so as he gets more users he might be
interested in a shared user base. Such as cross advertising.

I would, but my single requirement and that of my users is more than
anyone would ever entertain:  Complete anonymity.  The servers have
onion addresses and all clearnet connects are forced-SSL via a
wrapper.  All of us balk and the idea of even doing the initial
registration in the clear like most nets which accept Tor.  The level
of anonymity the network offers, sadly on occasion, brings with it all
the things you would imagine. :)

i'm ok with the onions, but my users have to be allowed to use
plaintext (because my other links would likely not accept having
forced ssl), mode +z will stop non-ssl joins

Edit: also i'm not willing to force ssl on users, but i will configure
in onion in tor AND but my links are not likely to, you'd also need to
use my ircd.
