Looking for windows IRC client program with UI like Kiwi IRC reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Viper_Infinity · 2015-06-19 18:21 I have been using Kiwi IRC for a while now but I don't like that it is in a browser. Ideally, I would like to have Kiwi IRC as a program on my computer but that doesn't seem possible. I am looking for an IRC program that has the UI as good looking as Kiwi IRC's but can install to my computer as a program and not webpage **What I mean by "Good looking"** * Easy to look at the background (soft gray) * All windows are nicely formatted * Chat is not all clustered together and is spaced so you can CLEARLY see who is talking and what they are saying Example: [Kiwi IRC Screenshot](http://i.imgur.com/wePbzvG.jpg) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sketchni · 2015-06-19 20:38 I'd recommend getting hexchat. There are a variety of themes and customisability options. Unlike xchat, hexchat is free for windows. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Viper_Infinity · 2015-06-19 21:09 I found this about ten minutes ago before looking at my reddit. This is exactly what I was looking for! I was using AdiIRC for a tiny bit but Twitch IRC did not want to work for it due to the password method /PASS not being an option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sketchni · 2015-06-19 21:56 Ha. Glad you like it. It's a great client! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Viper_Infinity · 2015-06-19 22:47 I was looking for an option to increase the pixel spacing between new messages but couldn't find it. Does this client allow for that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sketchni · 2015-06-19 23:43 Not currently. It seems to be on the way in a future release. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gueriLLaPunK · 2015-06-20 15:12 Try a different theme.
