Hello /r/irc!

I have been using limechat for a while on the mac (hexchat on
PC/Linux).  More recently I have been using Textual because limechat
seems to have stopped development.  When using LimeChat I cannot
connect to any my ZNC server using SSL, or any server for that matter
ever since I upgraded to OSX 10.10.  I never had any issues with
previous versions of OSX.  Maybe somebody found a workaround.  I
connect to my ZNC server on port 7000 which requires a SSL connection
- if that helps out.

The only reason I enjoyed using limechat, and haven't moved on is
because I loved the one window for multiple servers feature.  For
those of you that are unaware: you could have one active channel and
all the other open channels would be placed onto the bottom channel so
you could read everything without changing channels.  I am more than
willing to use another application or ideally if a script is available
for weechat or irssi.  I am mainly looking for a way to do this on my
mac, but I frequently use my PC as well and would love a solution for
that as well when I am on my PC.

Try hexchat. I think it has what you want..

I use hexchat on my pc daily and have never found this feature. Are
you referring to a script for hexchat?I appreciate your help.

I am looking for one window with chat from all open servers and rooms
in one feed of text.

I believe weechat has a /buffer merge option. Also, Quassel has a
"chat monitor" option. I'm not sure if either are exactly what you're
looking for, but it's worth looking into.
