How do I get to use "auto op" in HexChat?

I want to be able to auto op someone when they enter a channel.
Something like rightclick on them and select auto op.
Anyone knows how to do this?

Can't set that client side. Needs to be set via chanserv/nickserv.

The network you're on likely has ChanServ to manage channels, if so...

Since the flag **+O** is auto-op, you'll need to set it to a specific
user, here's the syntax:
>**/msg chanserv FLAGS #yourchannel user flags**

Where **#yourchannel** is your channel name, insert your channel name
in place of **yourchannel**.

**user** is the nick you want to apply it to, enter the nick of who
you want to auto-OP here.

**flags** is replaced with +O (or any other flag you want to add to
the user.

Well, you could do that in NoNameScript 6 years ago, so I bet you
could do it now.

It's pretty clear /u/JestersHat is looking to automatically op a user
himself upon that user entering a channel that he is op in, rather
than via chanserv.

Here's a script I found via Google:

This lets you /op people matching a certain hostmask as long as you
are +o on the channel. Not sure why everyone is telling you this can't
be done, it's really not complicated.

Install python, if you didn't install it with your Hexchat
installation.
