Chatzilla save chat

I recently began using Chatzilla
Though logging is nice and all I was wondering if there was a way to
make Chatzilla save the chat so that when I return after leaving, the
chat will still be there instead of being cleared out, like how Skype
saves it's chat.
If it is not possible on Chatzilla could you mention some clients that
can?

Most clients have what's called a "scrollback", where when you reopen
the client all the previous conversation is still there. Check out
X-chat.

Also, unless your time disconnected is minimal, most of the history
might be out dated and the conversation will have changed direction.

Ah thanks, though Chatzilla does not seem to have that function.
X-chat isn't free after the 30 day trail if their site is anything to
go by but thanks either way, appreciate it.

True enough but having the chat there for reference is great when
needed, otherwise not much so.

Check out the free versions of X chat, like Hexchat!
