Can someone please make this script for me? reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- feedmecurry · 2015-01-25 18:56 Hey, I know I've requested you guys to make a script for me before, but I have another request. I need a script that voices people based off of a whitelist. People can be manually added to that list using a command like !av (nick). Then when they join again, they will always be voiced as long as they are using the same IP/username. I also have a script that sets the channel to +m and gives all users voice: on *:TEXT: !voicemodeon:#ubersupport:{ if ($nick isop #ubersupport) { msg Chanserv #ubersupport mode +m } { msg ChanServ #ubersupport set givevoice 0 } { msg Chanserv #ubersupport resync } { msg Chanserv #ubersupport set givevoice 100 } { msg $chan Voice mode is now 4ACTIVATED. If you want voice, please PM an operator. } } If anyone could add the autovoice thing to this, it would be great. Thanks so much. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- austindkelly · 2015-01-26 02:05 You could just use built in services like groupserv and chanserv to do this for you assuming your irc network allows such services (most do). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- KindOne · 2015-01-26 03:20 The script you pasted is kinda wrong in the syntax. This is a fixed version. on *:TEXT:!voicemodeon:#ubersupport:{ if ($nick isop #ubersupport) { msg Chanserv #ubersupport mode +m msg ChanServ #ubersupport set givevoice 0 msg Chanserv #ubersupport resync msg Chanserv #ubersupport set givevoice 100 msg $chan Voice mode is now 4ACTIVATED. If you want voice, please PM an operator. } } Or if you want it on one line, you can seperate the commands with an | msg ChanServ ... mode +m | msg ChanServ .... set ... | msg ChanServ rsync ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- feedmecurry · 2015-01-26 16:24 Don't think mines does. I don't want to give everyone in the channel 100 clvl because the userlist is for the staff. My channel is an official game server channel so ---------------------------------------------------------------------- feedmecurry · 2015-01-26 16:25 Thank you. Could you help me make the other script though? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- feedmecurry · 2015-01-27 20:47 Bump? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- FiXato · 2015-02-07 11:07 Why not use mIRC's built-in /avoice command, which basically leverages its built-in address book? http://en.wikichip.org/wiki/mirc/commands/avoice http://www.mirchelp.net/helpfile/control.htm This would voice on-join. If you insist on requiring the users to type that !voice command, learn how to use user access levels in your scripts instead of wildcarding them (*) http://www.mirchelp.net/helpfile/access_levels.htm It's surprising how many people still go for half-assed custom solutions, when mIRC's had a fairly decent solution for it already since v5.9 (iirc).
