Problems building znc with python on a shared server reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HashWorks · 2014-11-27 11:17 I'm currently trying to build the znc bouncer from source with python support: PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:/package/host/localhost/python- 3.3.0/lib/pkgconfig/; ./configure --prefix=/home/hashwork/opt/ --enable-python --enable- perl --enable-openssl --enable-zlib --enable-ipv6; But I can't get past the following: checking for python... yes checking for Py_Initialize... no Google suggests setting the PYTHONPATH variable: PYTHONPATH=/package/host/localhost/python-3.3/include/python3.3m/; But that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fedv · 2014-11-27 11:36 Get your own server. Seriously, I speak on behalf of every body. If you need a server for a ZNC instance, and you don't have root, you're doing it wrong. In the long run it's a waste of your time. Hell, contact ##bnc on snoonet, they'll give you one for free ---------------------------------------------------------------------- KindOne · 2014-11-27 11:53 Ask on chat.freenode.net #znc for znc help. http://wiki.znc.in/ZNC http://wiki.znc.in/Modpython
