I've never IRC'd before and I don't know what I'm doing. A little

I am trying to communicate with a site admin regarding a disabled
account and the only way to reach them is via IRC.  They provide what
I assume is their channel address?  I have downloaded Textual for my
Mac but I don't know how to use it to reach the site.
I know I am extremely naive about this so I'm sorry if I sound dumb
about it.  I guess I am. I have tried browsing for answers online but
to no avail and I keep failing.  So I'm turning to you, Reddit.  Can
someone explain to this newb what I need to do?

Should in theory (I don't use the client) be able to enter, if you
enter these into the client,

       /server  irc.theempire.bz
       /join #theempire.bz

Or

    /connect irc.theempire.bz
    /join #theempire.bz


At the bottom of the site, you will see an irc.theempire ... , double
click that and the client should in theory connect you to it.

Textual does have a support channel,
