Alert me when I am mentioned?

I have a dedicated IRC computer, but would like to be alerted when I
am not actively monitoring the chat, regardless of what computer I am
on.  Do any of you know of a way to get an alert when you are
mentioned (via email or something)?  The client is a Mac running
Colloquy, but I am willing to change programs if necessary.  Any help
is appreciated.

[IRCCloud](https://www.irccloud.com) is really good for push
notifications. Have you looked into them?

I use ZNC on my NAS with a bash script which executes when I get a
notification and there are no clients connected.

The bash script sends a [NMA push
notification](http://www.notifymyandroid.com/) to my phone.

I wrote an irc not, and one of the things it can do, is tell me  when
my name is said, it does notifications via a android push
notification.
