Does anyone know of a bot (or know how to write one) that could copy
the text of a specific use on Channel/Server A and automatically post
it to Channel/Server B?

So if someone on one channel wrote something, the bot would
automatically grab it and spit it out on a different server/channel.

Those are called generally called IRC channel relay bots/scripts.
These are the two that I know of off the top of my head.


mIRC: http://hawkee.com/snippet/2230/ I have used this one.

Ruby: https://github.com/somasonic/ruby-relay Never used, but I am on
a channel that uses it.

You could look into [Hubot](https://hubot.github.com/), which together
with [Hubot-IRC](https://github.com/nandub/hubot-irc) makes it quite
easy to make an IRC bot like this :)

Hmm, tried the mIRC one but couldnt seem to get it working.

Did you have it running on a bot or just through your mIRC script
editor?

My IRC bot, [Kurea](https://github.com/kellyirc/kurea), could do this
relatively easily. I'm doing it in an up-and-coming game that I'm
making with it, and it's as simple as [these 4 lines of code](https://
github.com/seiyria/IdleLands/blob/master/ext/kurea/IdleLandsModule.cof
fee#L48-L51).

you can easily do that with screen, irssi, and
irssi.org/scripts/trigger.pl
