A question about kvirc and using different nicknames on different
networks.

OK, I'm using kvirc 4.2.0 and I have it set to connect to 3 different
networks on startup and join a few channels in each network. In one of
these networks, the username I use throughout the rest of my
connections isn't allowed and I need to change it on every connect.

I was wondering if there was a way to tell kvirc/IRC to use a
different username only on that network when I connect. I've already
tried setting up a profile on kvirc, but I'm not sure if I set
everything up correctly or not so any help would be appreciated.

P.S. If there isn't really a situation, then that's fine as changing
my username every time I connect isn't a huge deal.

For each one of your servers you have it set, why not go to advanced

"Server" field), And fill in your primary nick and your alternate nick

I don't have it set up like that for each server, I have only ever
registered my nick and set it to identify me upon startup.

On the server where I need to have a different nick, I registered with
the one that's allowed.
