Reading and Writing in SQL Files With mIRC

I am currently making a Twitch.tv bot for a streamer I know, and he
has a point system with another bot already going, but his crashes a
lot. He has a SQL files which keeps all the points everyone has.
Currently I am having a lot of trouble trying to access the points
from the files, and Google isn't helping. Does anyone have any idea on
how I can do this/if it is possible? I can do it from .ini files, and
I really don't want to convert the points over and reformat it.

Sorry, I have never really messed with them before so I don't exactly
know the proper terminology. But I will look into making shell
scripts, thanks!

Technically you would write a SQL file if you were writing a file of
queries (i.e. a schema definition or import/export script). However
you are quite correct that in the context the OP is using, he's
looking to interface with a SQL database.

Also, there at least used to be some addons for a MySQL interface.
