Another bot scripting question. How to fix a !caster command. reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- therealcmiller · 2014-03-04 06:17 I run chat bots for Twitch streamers. I am trying to create a !caster command similar to nightbots. Right now I have this: on *:TEXT:!caster*:#(channel): { set %caster $2- .msg #(channel) Check out %caster at twitch.tv/ %caster } which kind of works, but there is a space after the / in the url and when I take that space away it responds instead with "Check at (caster works here) at twitch.tv/%caster (no variable change). r/irc, any way to fix this so that it returns a full url with no space? Thanks in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Auron956 · 2014-03-04 11:01 You will need to use $+, eg. twitch.tv/ $+ %caster or $+(twitch.tv/,%caster) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- therealcmiller · 2014-03-06 00:47 THANK YOU!!!!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zerokiwi · 2014-05-31 23:26 Oh man, Thank you so much!
