Same. Supports SASL authentication, custom quit/part messages, all the
bells and whistles you expect from a modern client.

AndChat. Also IRCcloud is great if you use their service.

If you also have access to a server on which you can run
[WeeChat](http://www.weechat.org/), you could also connect to that
with [WeeChat-Android](https://github.com/ubergeek42/weechat-
android/wiki/Quickstart-Guide).

AndChat was one of the clients I tried when I was picking an IRC
client for Android a couple of years ago, and I ruled it out.  It's
been enough time that I no longer remember why I didn't like it.
