US-International Keyboard works differently on Hexchat than the rest of Windows. reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2014-01-23 14:21 Hello. Not sure where to ask this, but this is a very weird problem which I only found a reference to [here](https://github.com/hexchat/hexchat/issues/37) I have the US-international keyboard set up in Windows. Now, the problem is that apparently Linux has a different mapping of the keyboard than Windows. I noticed specifically two keys: 1. " ' " followed by SPACE gives the character " ´ ". It should give me the " ' " character. 2. " ' " followed by C gives the character " Ć " instead of the usual " Ç ". HexChat is the only software where this happens ... Any idea how to make it use the Windows encoding for input instead of the Linux encoding?
