IRC Suggestions for Literature, Philosophy, Trivia (like TIL), and
Self-Improvement?

It's been a while since I've used irc, but have recently decided I
miss having an online community to default to. I'd love suggestions
on irc channels for literature, philosophy, a general knowledge sort
of thing, and a self-improvement/productivity sort of thing. Any
ideas?

#trivia on efnet is pretty good and is fairly active most of the time
too.

Not sure about the other categories you suggested as I'm not really
interested in them. I have seen people mentioning ##philosophy on
freenode and it seems to be quite active according to
[searchirc.com](http://searchirc.com/irc-philosophy-1).
