Help resolving a server ban. Cannot access dronebl.org

I'm having problems connecting to freenode and reddit's irc server
snoonet. When I try to connect, I receive a message that I am banned
and need to resolve the issue from dronebl.org. However, dronebl.org
has been down for weeks now so I cannot resolve this issue.

I've tried emailing support, and all they say is to connect to the
website. I have shown them that the site is down, but all they come
back with is: "it loads for me". I have tried connecting from multiple
computers at multiple IP addresses. Still nothing. I even emailed them
telling that it is down, showing them http://www.isup.me/dronebl.org
and still nothing.

Does anyone know of a way to resolve this issue without accessing
dronebl.org?

Yeah this is really frustrating.

I am on the phone with my ISP as we speak. Trying to see if the IP
routing is screwed up.

Yea. http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ is the same company as
http://isup.me .

Anyways, another one of those websites tells me it is up in Dallas
(http://www.webpagetest.org/result/131206_G4_RZ/), but down in Chicago
(http://www.webpagetest.org/result/131206_BR_49M/) .

This whole situation is very confusing and I just want to be able to
connect to reddit and freenode IRC.

Yeah. This whole thing is really frustrating. I'm just trying to get
unbanned from IRC channels and this unreachable website stands in the
way. There has got to be a better solution to this.

Atheme probably use DroneBL, but if not, try asking in their [IRC
channel](irc://irc.atheme.org/dronebl)

It's loading without problems for me too.

    $ host dronebl.org
    dronebl.org has address 31.25.103.241
    dronebl.org has IPv6 address 2a00:f10:11a:663:647a::80

Can you ping that IP address? If so, try setting up an entry in your
[hosts file](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_(file%29).
