A Script That Triggers a Command That Ends a Script reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- VO0P ยท 2013-10-28 05:14 Confusing Title? Well what I was looking for was more along the lines of something that stopped the entire script, regardless of what timer it was currently running. Here's what the original script looks like if that helps: on *:TEXT: "!triggerhere" :#: { if ($nick == "mynickhere") { .timer 1 2 msg $chan "phrasehere" .timer 1 4 msg $chan "phrasehere" .timer 1 6 msg $chan "phrasehere" .timer 1 8 msg $chan "phrasehere" ...... .timer 1 60 msg $chan "phrasehere" } } since the /timers off command works in IRC for this I tried... on*:text:!endtrigger:#: { if ($nick == "mynickhere") { /timers off } } but that won't insert the command into the mIRC client from the chat I'm in. [this bot is being used on the twitch.tv website and I would like to be able to trigger the "stop script" from the twitch chat.]
