You shouldn't need post install triggers, entropy should give you
updated python packages if needed automagically. Unless you are
talking about portage, in which case I suppose it could be sensible
but calling portage from a post inst hook is probably asking for
pain...

The system broke once because of a python update. I think this is the
main problem of rolling releases.
