Connection problems after refreshing ip

I just refreshed/changed my ip, and now I can't seem to connect to any
IRC servers.
I Went into CMD, typed ipconfig /release, and then ipconfig /renew.

Just like it said [here](http://whatismyipaddress.com/change-ip)

Please help!

What is the status showing? You need to post some type of logs.

Also, reboot the machine first.
