* Google "mirc" gives you www.mirc.com, *not* www.mirc.co.uk
* whois on mirc.com gives:

 Administrative Contact, Technical Contact:
      Mardam-Bey, Khaled

whois on mirc.co.uk gives:

Registrant's address:
        Mirc Co Ltd.

And a lot more information which doesn't relate to mirc.com.

* mirc.com is hosted with tierra.net

mirc.co.uk is hosted with zen.co.uk

* wrtea has an 8 day old account. In itself not suspicious, but it's
something.

All in all, this is circumstantial. But highly suspicious that even
the CNet link it links to show the publisher's address as mirc.com,
http://download.cnet.com/windows/mirc/3260-20_4-50355.html

Basically, you might save $10. Or you could have your credit card
information stolen and fraudulently used.

Sorry dude, Google says otherwise. There is zero listing of mirc.co.uk
anywhere on the front page.

How do you know this? It's almost as if he or his company didn't
register mirc.co.uk and so *people* swooped in to dupe people into
giving them money instead.

Also consider this: Using your posted link on mirc.com,
http://www.mirc.com/register.html?coupon=MIRC-SWV0-MNKL, doesn't work.

Please remove this. Thanks for the downvotes, I've already alerted the
moderators. Might want to remove it yourself before they do.
