It's the internet. To be brutally honest, grow up. You need to stop
caring what people on the internet say about you. If you really need
acceptance from people on the internet, you have some serious issues.
You need to get new friends, and find some hobbies that are AWAY from
the computer. If you want to learn Japanese, you need to take a class
or get rosetta stone or something similar. Don't try and learn from
video's and talk radio. Overall, lift your skirt up, grab your balls,
and be a man.

I have notebooks full of dictionary entries that I repeatedly wrote
the kanji hundreds of times in. I didn't just slap on the radio, I
have actively used flashcards, dictionaries, notebooks, video lessons,
and native material in a complete smorgasboard of Japanese learning.
