From my experience, what I do belive is the following: sending files or links of child pornography is indeed a crime in most countries and is very reasonable to block people that attempts it. But arguing about it, stating their own opinion shouldn't be a problem. There are opinions that are so repulsive that people defending them are doing more harm to them (or to their reputation) than anything else.
