Yeah, how dare they use the same character? # should be reserved for
IRC use only, in addition to !, & and +. And let's reserve @ too, and
. and ~ and %. We might want to take < and > too for good measure.
Someone up for writing an RFC forbidding the use of these on the rest
of the Internet?
