[Help] No ops in new unregistered subreddit channel #reddit-geb

IRC noob here, created a channel for [/r/geb](/r/geb), got
disconnected before I could register my nick or give ops to someone
else, so now we have no ops. The people in #freenode directed me to
#reddit, told me to ask the GC to /query me but I guess he wasn't
around, so I'm asking here.

We ended up just making a new channel, #redditGEB. I registered it
with ChanServ - is there anything else I need to do?

Well, we encourage all reddit channels to be a part of the #reddit-
namespace, which gets you a few perks:

* Our channel management bot, redditalien, aides in managing your
channel (timed bans and quiets, etc)
* In the event of a hostile takeover, we can reinstate the rightful
owners of the channel
* Easier to search for on ALIS

I registered it for you and got you founder on the channel.

You have to leave the bot, redditalien, with the flags she currently
has.

If you want to use the bot for channel management, register with her
via `/msg redditalien register`

how do we determine a bot's gender?

#rteenagers on foonetic is flooded by bots :P

if the bot responds to the .striptease command then you know it is a
female :P
