What do you guys generally want in an IRC bot?

As a programmer, one of my favorite little pet projects is my IRC bot
framework. One of the things I'm looking to put in it is a set of
common features an IRC bot has (this would be able to be turned off by
the Bot's owner if they didn't want these features).

Right now I'm thinking of just being able to kick under certain
circumstances, and replying certain things in certain circumstances.

Any more?
