How to properly report drm-kmod bug reddit / freebsd ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JIV_222 · 2023-12-14 01:27 I have an AMD 6900XT in my system. However, when using the drm-kmod driver, my system hard-locks/resets very consistently.. I'm running Wayland, but if the bug occurs when a Wayland session is active, the system hard locks and reboots.. I recently tried a stress test without launching X or Wayland, and got the error shown in the attached image. This results in a locked up system, with a hard reboot the only option. Oddly, this happens much more frequently if the CPU is at a heavy load.. I even upgraded power supplies hoping that was the issue, but I'm still getting hard locks after the upgrade. My question is, as someone relatively new to the FreeBSD community, what's the "proper" way to report this bug? What files should I attach? Thanks a bunch. I've ordered an older AMD GPU to (hopefully) avoid this for now, but I'd definitely like to find a real fix.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- grahamperrin · 2023-12-14 08:05 For users of old Reddit, and other clients that obscure the text: > I have an AMD 6900XT in my system. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, I'll figure this out this weekend. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- grahamperrin · 2023-12-16 06:32 If you like, mark your post: [answered](https://i.imgur.com/pTA9UeG.png)
