Looks good for a PFSENSE box, dual intel 2.5G NICs and cheap reddit / freebsd ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok_Flounder_4292 · 2023-04-08 15:19 The Beelink EQ12 is a small, low-cost, low-power computer with 6-watt Intel Processor N100 quad-core processor, support for up to 16GB of DDR5 memory, two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, and support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2. https://preview.redd.it/9ytrwlivgosa1.png?width=768&format=png&auto=we bp&v=enabled&s=1bd7fedbcdd0b98eba590babe55a299995da661f [https://liliputing.com/beelink-eq12-mini-pc-with-intel-n100-alder- lake-n-now-available-for-239-and-up/](https://liliputing.com/beelink- eq12-mini-pc-with-intel-n100-alder-lake-n-now-available-for-239-and- up/) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- timvandijknl · 2023-04-08 16:03 TBH it would be a pretty decent workstation, as long as you don't do anything that requires a beefy GPU (Gaming, video editing, etc) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stillcantpickaname · 2023-04-08 19:39 I've been pretty impressed with my SER6 so far and have been thinking about grabbing a cheaper beelink to replace my aging nas/dmz box. I had 14 running for a bit but wifi and amdgpu are at one of those points where they're not usable. 13 runs great but you need 14 for drm-515-kmod so it's just a matter of time for me to switch over fully. I've been really shocked at just how much they can stick in something this small. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- grahamperrin · 2023-04-09 07:08 £239, plus: * I wonder how much for *Beelink* to ship to the UK. (I can't proceed beyond that point without creating an account, which I don't want.) The cost with Amazon US: "$70.24 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to United Kingdom". I can't see the product in Amazon's UK store. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stillcantpickaname · 2023-04-09 20:23 beelink is free shipping(and they cover duties) from amazon.ca, do they not have a uk front? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stillcantpickaname · 2023-04-09 20:34 watch the store, they have a crazy rotating stock and certain models show up and disappear with wildly swinging prices. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- grahamperrin · 2023-04-09 21:11 I found £200.46, > All orders are processed in USD, using the latest exchange rates. … Shipping not included … Again, I can't get a shipping cost without entering personal details. I'm not likely to purchase one, just curious. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stillcantpickaname · 2023-04-09 21:42 FWIW, amazon says $40CAD for me. That'll vary as stocks arrive in CA warehouses which then makes importing null. On the same page, I just got hit by fedex for $17 afterwards when importing another board from china. I'm sure the eq12 will show up soon enough in the uk front based from watching stock for the ser6 and racing others for the cheap listings. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok_Flounder_4292 · 2023-05-06 03:13 have a look at this [thread](https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/adding-igc-driver- to-13-0-release-for-intel-i225-v-network-adapter.83070/), it looks like i225 support has been pulled from FreeBSD 13.0. However it is available in 14.0. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- grahamperrin · 2023-05-08 16:46 > have a look at this thread, … available in 14.0. Also available in 13.2, if I read things correctly:
