I've written a quick tutorial in english (its linked) and german on
how to install Cinnamon as a desktop environment. It's nooby friendly
and all required commands are listed with a short explanation. Hope

Edit the fstab line, for it to not wrap.

(Less educated readers might misinterpret it as two lines.)

This worked in VirtualBox. No problem.

I did have to install virtual box add on packages though.
