how do i control my cpu,

put 4 cores at performace and other 4 at low frequency?

I think

sysctl dev.cpu.0.freq=600

should do that. Where 0 is the number of the cpu, or core you want to
set the frequency of and 600 means you are setting it to 600MHz

Not sure though, so try checking

man cpufreq

and do

dev.cpu.0.freq_levels

to see which frequencies your CPU supports.

You can do it manually or set minimum and maximum frequency for
`powerd(8)` from base or `powerdxx(8)` from packages/Ports.
