TeX Live or MiKTeX or ...?

Hey guys,

on Linux I usually install distro's full TeX Live and don't care
anymore.

Is that the same on FreeBSD with `texlive-full`, or is `miktex` a
better option, or anything else?

Can report using Tex Live on fbsd for some years with no missing
packages.

And, for no particular reason, MikTeX on windows with different
milage, but identical results.

Mind you, I've only ever used "pkg install texlive-full"

Unfortunately [TexLive is still 2021
version](https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=264596)
