[Help] Cinnamon FreeBSD 13

Hello everyone. I am having trouble getting cinnamon 4.8.x to run on
FreeBSD 13-p5. I installed it, got sddm to load, enabled dbus as well
as set up the proc in fstab and when I go to open cinnamon from sddm
or even from startx, it loads to the desktop, but it I can't click on
anything. I can move the mouse, but nothing is responsive.

Similar thing happens with gnome for me. Using the scfb driver got rid
of the issue for me.

I really don't want to use that driver since I have an RX 580

Well i think gnome, and thus cinnamon, is just broken right now. I
don’t think you have another option besides using another desktop
environment.

I mean, I could just either use XFCE, plasma, or I could just go back
to Linux, though I really want to stick out with FreeBSD
