i was install FreeBSD with GNOME on virtualbox by using this guide :
desktop/](https://leonardcucos.com/how-to-install-freebsd-13-with-
gnome-desktop/)

the problem is that when i try running it, the gdm login works but
then i'm presented with a black screen and a mouse cursor

anyone got an idea on how to fix it ?

FreeBSD Version : 13.0-RELEASE

Virtualbox Version : Version 6.1.26 r145957 (Qt5.6.2)

All the best!!

Btw while setting up the FreeBSD did you entered hostname e.g guleri24
or hostname with a domain name extension e.g com.guleri24.home.

I heard somewhere in the fourms/YouTube video that FreeBSD need a
fully qualified hostname with domain name extension without that it
would not start.
