saved-entropy "No such file or directory"

Hi,

for days now cron produces one or more errors like these in the
morning:

    unlink: saved-entropy.8: No such file or directory
    mv: rename saved-entropy.7 to saved-entropy.8: No such file or
directory
    mv: saved-entropy.6: No such file or directory
    mv: saved-entropy.5: No such file or directory
    mv: saved-entropy.4: No such file or directory
    mv: saved-entropy.3: No such file or directory
    mv: saved-entropy.2: No such file or directory
    mv: saved-entropy.1: No such file or directory

I searched the internet and there was a race condition ages ago.
/var/db/entropy shows saved-entropy.1 till 8 in the past 70 minutes.
cron errors are always around 4 o'clock in the morning.

Any ideas?

Anything odd in /var/log/cron and /var/log/messages during that time?

Nothing obvious no.

Well the error is coming from /usr/libexec/save-entropy which is
called every 11 minutes. But what makes it fail once a day.
