Boot into LiveCD and checkout the commands: "dmesg | more". That will
show you those errors again in slower time.

Read Only filesystem sounds like it cannot mount the disks after
processing the disk geometry. The read only message is due to the
CD/DVD being read only. What options (filesystem based) are you
selecting please?

Failing that, initially try installing on a USB memory stick first.

To begin diagnosis, maybe …

1. download NomadBSD
2. create your NomadBSD USB flash drive
3. boot NomadBSD
4. follow the first run routine, reboot into NomadBSD
5. use OctoPkg to install `lsblock` and whatever else you might need
6. `lsblock`
7. `gpart show`
