I'm quite a fan of GhostBSD. I just jumped right in and installed it,
although I run it as a virtual machine under ESXi. I planned on
running it this way from the start. The only downside I've found is
that the support forums haven't been all that active, although I've
gotten good help from the FreeBSD forums. I'll probably donate to the
folks at GhostBSD at some point.

Good distro,  I use pkg rather than its software GUI, though from
within a terminal.
