Do you have `em0` interface present in the `ifconfig` ? Also, which
version of FreeBSD it's ?

Yes it shows up. This means I have my NIC setup properly doesn't it?

Okay, if it shows up, then I'm not sure what else is wrong. The
command line looks good to me.

Maybe post the output of `ifconfig` so someone can else help out.
