Can I change the size of a mouse cursor for EXWM? reddit / emacs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- daehwannam · 2022-10-21 20:43 I've recently replaced my old FHD monitors with QHD and UHD (4k) ones. I can change DPI to increase font sizes of Emacs and other applications, but cannot change the size of the mouse cursor for EXWM. I first tried to change the cursor size by following [https://unix.sta ckexchange.com/a/612138/502857](https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/61213 8/502857) . However, the new mouse cursor size is only applied when the cursor is **not over an Emacs buffer**. Is it possible to change the size of the cursor for EXWM? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sirus21 · 2022-10-22 07:04 You could try with .Xresources: `Xcursor.size: 16` (Or whatever size) And then: `xrdb ~/.Xresources` ---------------------------------------------------------------------- daehwannam · 2022-10-22 10:12 The config of \~/.Xresources is applied only when the mouse cursor is not over an Emacs buffer. If I move the mouse inside of an Emacs buffer, the mouse shrinks and its color becomes red. This problem occurs in EXWM and doesn't occur in GNOME Shell window manger.
