How can I disable dap-mode for lsp-mode? reddit / emacs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- OS6aDohpegavod4 · 2022-10-01 03:17 I use lsp-mode, but every time I open a project I see that dap-mode is t. I tried putting (setq dap-mode nil) everywhere, but it is always set to t when I open a project. How can I disable this and why hasn't that been working setting the variable? Also, any other suggestions on things to disable to improve lsp-mode speed? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- yyoncho · 2022-10-01 10:44 dap-mode does not affect lsp-mode's speed except for load time. > Also, any other suggestions on things to disable to improve lsp-mode speed? https://emacs-lsp.github.io/lsp-mode/page/performance/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2022-10-01 13:15 [deleted] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- yyoncho · 2022-10-01 13:26 That is not variable. A minor mode needs to have a variable that indicates whether it is on or off, which drives the modeline display. It also defines a command to turn the mode on and off, which sets the variable and does anything else needed to activate or deactivate the mode. https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/elisp/Minor-Mode- Conventions.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2022-10-01 15:48 [deleted]
