Disable load-average in display-time-mode reddit / emacs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thomsaaas · 2022-09-23 12:20 I'm using display-time-mode to display date and time, but unfortunately it also displays the average load. As far as my understanding goes, `(setq display-time-default-load-average nil)` should disable this, but it is still active. The string looks like this: `Fri, 23.09. | 13:58 1.46` This is the repsponsible part in my config: (setq display-time-mode t) (display-time-mode t) (setq display-time-format "%a, %d.%m. | %R ") (setq display-time-default-load-average nil) (setq display-time-24hr-format t) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- redguardtoo · 2022-09-23 14:47 https://www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/xfcjp5/comment/ion4sqs/?utm_so urce=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 7890yuiop · 2022-09-23 23:45 Toggle `M-x display-time-mode` off and on again. In your config, enable the mode *after* setting all those variables, not before. And get rid of `(setq display-time-mode t)` -- that's not doing anything useful.
