Elpy load so-library

It seems that Flycheck can not find a library I created, although in
init.el I initialized the path to the library as follows:

`(setenv "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" "/absolute/path/to/lib/")`

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I think you are looking to the  `PYTHONPATH` environment variable:
