sorry. Yeah that is for code and = for verbatim.

I use = to highlight text. Here's my config:


`(setq org-emphasis-alist`
`(quote (("*" bold)`
`("/" italic)`
`("_" underline)`
`("=" (:foreground "#616161" :background "#ffeb3b"))`
`("~" org-verbatim verbatim)`

Thanks. This still translates to verbatim after importing to HTML.

Assuming you mean temporarily, see `C-h v lazy-highlight-cleanup`
