Using async in org-babel results in some functions and variables being
undefined

I am trying a long process org-babel process using `:async` in `org-
babel` and the errors `(void-function function-name)` and `(void-
variable variable-name)` keep coming up even if they are defined.

I take it that `:async` process probably runs another emacs process or
session where those variables and functions may not be defined.

How do I fix this?

If you use `ob-async` package and `emacs-lisp` src block, see [`ob-
async-inject-variables`](https://github.com/astahlman/ob-
async/blob/9aac486073f5c356ada20e716571be33a350a982/ob-async.el#L51).
