Calling it mood-line I was expecting it to like change colors based on
my ambient temperature or typing speed or something

Compare the two code-bases :) `mood-line` is a great example of how to
elegantly write something pretty similar in aesthetic to doom.

I'll try it later, but I wonder if it fixes the bug where a filename
containing a % character doesn't display correctly.

I use it, I prefer it to doom-modeline as it is a way smaller, and I
like that it is text only.

I do patch a fews things in it: region size when active, narrowing
indicator, and macro recording indicator:  https://github.com/sebasmon
